On xoJane: 5 Awesome Headphones That Won’t Overwhelm Your Head

V-Moda XSHeadphones are a legit fashion accessory now that a bunch of celebrities either make them or wear them at all times. But as cool as a pair of Beats Studios may look around Katie Holmes’ neck, it does not escape my notice that those things are way huge on her.

The Dr Dres, 50 Cents, and Tim Tebows of the world might prefer giant cans on their heads, but some of us are looking for headphones with a smaller profile. Good thing it’s far easier to find a non-bulky, attractive, premium headphone now than it was just a year ago.

On Techlicious: The Best Android Phone – Summer 2014

HTC One M8This year, a number of excellent new Android phones hit the market: the Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, Sony Xperia Z2 and LG G3. “How do you even use something so big?”

“I could never handle anything that massive!”

“I can’t even wrap my hand around it!”

No, they’re not talking about some giant dildo, they’re talking about my phone.

While I was looking for a picture of my version of the AlphaSmart for yesterday’s post I came across a post touting the superiority of the Neo (that’s what they’re calling AlphaSmarts these days) over netbooks. To say I was shocked is an understatement. In these times when netbooks flow from the heavens like water, why in the world would… Read more →

Ever Wondered: Which Netbook Should I Buy? Here’s The Answer.

For reasons that should be clear to everyone reading this blog, I’m usually the person folks in my circle of friends and acquaintances come to when they want advice on which netbook to buy. I am the netbook queen. Plus, I get to play with (and sometimes review) a larger sample than most. Thing is, my netbook advice hasn’t changed… Read more →
